I thought there was a thread on this already but I don't see it. I'm trying to hook up my non-factory hardtop without buying a whole new harness. I think I've got most of the parts, but was wondering if anyone else has done this and has a wiring diagram? Not worried about washer, just wiper and defrost.

I need this too. Anyone?

EDIT: This seems to have what we need.

I'm determined to figure this one out on the cheap. I know JSCHERB has posted alot about this on other forums. (Actually, I think he has his own line of wiring harnesses designed for production.) Anyway, most of the other forum's posts refer to a newer top on an older jeep. That's not the case with our LJ's. I will post what I end up with. Any other input is appreciated.

I think I've got it. At least on paper. Now, just got to wire it up and test. I'm going to use as much of the factory wiring and relays as possible and tap in where the hard top stuff is missing. Basically need 4 wires run to the hardtop, a 5th one (per FSM) runs power back to the front for the rear washer pump. That way you can't accidentally turn it on when the top is off. I'll probably do all the wiring for the rear pump, but still not actually hook it up. Might run an extra wire to the top for future use too.
First thing I got to do is pull the switches back out of my dash. Last time I had it apart I put them in just for looks.

Went to the salvage yard and found the the factory plugs I needed. I plan to pull out some pins and reinsert them in my plugs so I can hook it up like factory. Or at least like the Mopar kit does it.
