Ok, so I peeled the Green Wrap off, the whole jeep is Yellow! Not sure why the wrap, paint looks great, except one spot where H2O got under the wrap. Now there is a bit of surface rust an cracked paint. I am tempted to DA sand, prime, rattle can the spot and cover it with a decal. It about 2" or so long, and 1/2" wide. Should be a simple enough fix, unless I am able to find the yaller paint to match, in a spray can. Too much hassle to blend a small spot.

After peeling the wrap off, the paint was in better shape than the vinyl! I found a few spots that need some black overspray removed, and a place where the vinyl held H2O and messed up the paint, but 99% or so is perfect! I want to dampen the road noise, I see carpet or underbody sons proofing coming. I will start asking questions t work Monday. I will be starting a new job, installing the in car Datamaster Interlock DUI units.
The pay is ok, but all of the items that I buy from the shop will be 10% above cost. We can get anything from tires to tops and everything between them!
I see upgrades In My future!!! Lol

Nice rig, but based on what I see, I do not think that road noise will be reduced by under carper lining. Unless you drive it with windows up and hard top.

But in this case, is it really a jeep anymore?? ;)

so it was yellow? Wonder why the wrapped it green? I mean, I like the green, but seems odd to wrap a good paint job. Unless they also had a gecko green JK and wanted them to match or something...

It was yellow under the wrap, NO BAD SPOTS PRIOR TO THE WRAP. The wrap held water in a spot or two and caused the paint to crack and some surface rust.
Looking at bed lining the bad spots, to prevent more issues.

Lol, it literally happened overnight. We were at the FD ned found a hole in the wrap. It looked bad, my OCD (CDO the letters are in order that way) kicked in and in less than 4 hrs 99% was gone. They had vinyl infer all hinges, locks, etc. That was a PITA!
Just added a bunch of stuff for the cooling system. Added a few wants as well. Will post pics when it's all in place.

nothing wrong with random OCD. My old TJ had a tinted windshield and it drove me NUTS for years. Then one day I was sitting in the jeep talking on the phone and saw a speck of something stuck to the inside of the glass. I casually scratched at it, and to my surprise the tint peeled right off in that spot. Yup, I peeled the entire rest of the windshield before I even went into the store (I was in a parking lot). If I'd only known the stuff would just peel off, I would have done it years before. I was seriously thinking about just replacing the entire glass just to get rid of the tint. It had a small crack in it anyway, LOL

My passenger door window has a scratch. I think it's factory tint. I work at a tint/stereo shop. I may get out guys to see if they can fix that one. Lol
