Belly up skid plate
Hiya all, just signed into the forum tonight - so thought I'd start a post. Can anyone provide some experiences or even hearsay on a good belly up system. I've been told Undercoverfab make good products, but thought I'd ask here what folks are using since it give me an excuse to introduce myself LOL.

Re: Belly up skid plate
I have seen the UCF skid on an lj in person. Preforms great. I have read about the Savvy UA aluminum skid working well also.

Re: Belly up skid plate
I have a clayton installed and am going to try to switch it out for a full UCF skid this weekend if the rain holds off.

Re: Belly up skid plate
Well, I installed the UCF ultra flat skid with the lo pro mount. I already had the engine lift and BL. I still had to dent the tub pretty good under the driver's seat for the transfer case's front output side to fit and the exhaust hanger does need to be highly modified. I ended up not adding the exhaust hanger on the exhaust for you can't install the skid if so. I will have to shorten the hanger to fit. It took a buddy and I about 10 hours total to install with no directions including an engine skid too.
Also, had to modify the engine skid quite a bit to fit around my stock exhaust.
Only hangs down 1" below the frame

Re: Belly up skid plate
Well, just coming back to this post after having started it 3 months ago - I did buy the UCF skidplate. Just got it installed last week and looking forward to testing it out in the next few months. Looks like a quality product, and I did the engine skid as well. Thanks for all the replies.
