Re: The Tub Trailer
Hey there... Thanks. Yea I really like it. I have not pulled it over any serious stuff yet, but that camping trip we did had a few hill climbs, a couple shelves to hop over, and a couple decent size rock fields to get through. Unfortunately, no pics of any of that! But, it did pull VERY well over all of that and on the 5hr road trip getting down to the forest. I didn't even feel it behind the LJ while on the road. I only have a few pics of it loaded and ready to roll on that last trip. (Was it's maiden voyage.)
Here is one in the garage (please excuse the mess!)
here we are headed out of the forest, stopped at a lake to throw a line in...
The trailer doesn't sit at my house. Just no where to store it unfortunately. Next time I'm headed over to the storage place, I'll get some more detailed pics.

Great stuff! I like that tongue box, need something like that on my Bantam, but need to extend the tongue first.

Re: The Tub Trailer
Yep... lengthening the tongue and a hand brake are my next 2 mods. That tongue box comes VERY close to my spare on the LJ when going through a dip in the trail. So, I'd like to lengthen it enough to make a little room and put a small rack in front of the box. I really need to put a hand brake on it. Like on the M416's. On that camping trip the site we were at was very unlevel. It was very exciting, to say the least, trying to move that trailer around by hand on that uneven ground.... just about lost it down a hill! I replaced the Ebrake cables, but need to make a way to mount an ebrake lever and link everything together. I'd also like to put one of those multi-axis hitches on it, but thats not in the budget for now.
I hope at some point to put a couple yellow top batteries, inverter, controller, etc.. and have a decent power/light source in that tongue box. I really dont go out long enough for the solar charger systems and all that.
I'd still like to do a roof top tent on it, but have done a lot of research and the prices are just out of this world for those tents... so I'll be sleeping on the ground for a while!!!!
