p0573 "brake circuit A high" code

Had the LJ out bombing around in more than a foot of snow with lots of hip-high drifts and managed to get stuck once where I tried to rock it free but ended up digging it out, went back at it and had a BLAST.

When I went to start the Jeep the next time, I had a dreaded CEL and read the code: p0573 "brake circuit A high"

Searching around, I found a thread on JF where someone else had the same thing after playing in snow and getting stuck/rocking out and it went away once it was cleared:

Note that I do not have ABS on my LJ, FWIW.

I just cleared the code with my scanner and will post if it comes back or needs more troubleshooting. I hope it's something from either the rocking process or having snow packed in/around the calipers. I think it might be something where it trips if one of the calipers is stuck/frozen and you push the brakes where it doesn't see fluid move. Who knows really, but it's a thought.

I thought it was funny that it was someone else playing in chassis-deep snow, there must be something tied to that scenario.

I was out playing in the deep snow with no issues. Didn't get stuck much, but I was able to use my lockers (in high).

I'm sure it's not an every time thing. I definitely know I need to finally do the locker switch mod, we don't often get this kind of snow to mess around in.

CEL hasn't come back in two road drives since resetting.

Getting stuck was my own fault for trying to stop in the road when I was actually more than belly-deep in the plowed snowbank on the side of the road. The snow was coming down so hard and the light was so bad that all I could make out were mailboxes and trees, I thought I was on the plowed section. Oops.
