    Nice!

That is actually giving me some ideas.

Curious, what type of pipe, size and wall thinkness did you used?

    Hi Lucky J,

I actually purchased the tubes as a "kit" since I have no access to a tubing bender (and I don't want to buy one for a one-off project) - here's a link to exact one:

    http://www.oakesfab.com/pre-runner-kit

I spend quite a bit of time looking for someone that sells pre-bent tubing and this seemed like a good option, you'll see they also have other styles to choose from.

I purchased the kit with the larger (1.75") diameter bars.

Got it all sealed/primed before the sun set. I should say- my son sealed it while I cleaned up... He's on leave for a month (Army), my youngest. My oldest will be here right before Christmas, he's a Marine.

Wish them a Merry Christmas, and tell them "Thank you!" for me please.

    Re: MichaelR's LJ Build

Been quite a while since I've updated this thread. I've since installed a Metalcloak 3.5" short arm kit, Love it! Then my engine crapped out at 162k miles. When I bought the Jeep, I changed the oil and 1) it kind of came out sort of "lumpy" and 2) it was over full... So no idea about that.

    I decided to install a 2007 Ram Hemi, with the 545RFE transmission. It's a 390hp, 407ft/lb Torque. Runs great!

Looks like I can't upload pics anymore, not sure why. Maybe I've uploaded too many already?
