Spare Keys
So, My LJ is actually the first vehicle I have ever owned that has the key with the chip in it. Previous owner lost one of the keys so I need to get another. Any opinions on if this is better to do at the dealer or a key shop? Issues, concerns, etc? I don't even know how much they are yet, just thought I would ask here first.
Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Re: Spare Keys
Got my keys yesterday. Went to a local key shop. Was just over $100. That was for 2 new keys with chips, and one without. Don't know if that is reasonable or not, didn't really shop it. It was either them or the dealership. I know these guys are good, the keys work, and they are close to the house so I was Ok with it. He also gave me a card and wrote the numbers for the key and a code on it. Sugeested I take a pic of it and email it to myself so I would have it accesssible. Said if I was ever away from home/out of towwn, etc and lost my key that is the info needed to make me one and it would save me some time and headaches. Seemed like a good idea.
