Re: 2006 LJ Rubicon Wheel Upgrade

New forum member here. I bought a 2005 LJ automatic recently. I was eyeing the new JL's but felt they were awfully expensive and kinda bloated. Saw this LJ for sale by owner and bought it. 145,000 miles on it and a two owner vehicle, with the first owner pulling it behind his motorhome a lot. The LJ seemed clean and was stock. Doing some changes to the LJ now. Looking forward to getting it into my driveway soon.

Re: 2006 LJ Rubicon Wheel Upgrade

Welcome to the LJ world. I love my LJ but the newer jeeps have some advantages. Cost is not one. I usually stay on the trailing edge of technology. The LJ/TJ is the last if the relatively simple jeeps. The JL is the most complicated. I like simple. Sold a 1985 CJ7 to get the LJ and have never looked back. If I was daily driving. The Newer jeeps seem more suited to that. But my LJ is an extra toy not a DD.
