    Electrical Demon

    Chasing a demon. 2006 Unlimited, auto, 4.0L

    Cruise control sets but surges and subsides considerably. Speedo bouncing all over and sometimes doesn't function at all. Tonight...engine light threw P5072 code, brake switch malfunction. Have looked for short from speed sensor to ECM with no success yet. Anyone experienced this and how did you fix? Thanks for any advice!

    Speedi jumping. Hum. Does the LJ like YJ have a gear at the end of the TCase. Had the probleme before on my YJ and the gear was not set back correctly by me and it melted down and was jumping, but no codes. That was a 95 YJ with no good obdii coding.

    But I have no knowledge of that on my LJ yet.
