I just installed the Savvy Gas Tank Skid. Came across a good deal on Craigslist, otherwise it would have been hard to justify the cost. My old one did have a few dents, but was still functioning as intended.
With my 1" BL, I was able to take advantage of the raised mounting height. This gained me 1" at the pump, and 1.5" everywhere else.
On the '06, there were only 2 fuel line connections on the left side, 1 emission connection on the right, and the electrical is in the middle.
While it was out, I was able to clean, and address the frame and body.

Additionally, I pulled the check valve out of the tank and sanded it to prevent sticking. This is suppose to fix the fuel filling issues, but I still have the GM flapper installed in my OEM hose.
